Students who have completed less than 30 hours of college-level coursework must meet freshman requirements and have a minimum 2.0 cumulative college grade point average. Admissions decisions will be based on high school transcripts, SAT/ACT scores and college/university transcripts.
Students who have completed 30 or more hours of college-level coursework must have a minimum 2.0 cumulative college grade point average. Admissions decisions will be based solely on college coursework completed.
The Office of Admissions will only evaluate coursework completed at regionally accredited institutions. However, students must submit transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended, whether transfer credit will be awarded or not. 1. Submit an Application for Admission
The most convenient way to submit an application for admission is to complete the online application. Transfer students who have previously attended YHC should submit the application for readmission.
2. Submit the Supplemental Transfer Application and the Student Transfer Form
All students who have attended any post-secondary institution prior to enrolling in YHC need to complete the Supplemental Transfer Application and the Student Transfer Form. Your application for admission will not be considered complete and an admissions decision will not be made until these forms are submitted. Please send completed documents to:

Transfer Scholarships are awarded to students transferring with 30 or more hours of college-level coursework. Transfer Scholarship amounts are as follows, based on college GPA:

Students who have completed less than 30 hours of college-level coursework will be considered for freshman scholarships.
Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarship
Phi Theta Kappa members who transfer to Young Harris College will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship in addition to their academic scholarship. Proof of membership in the National Honor Society is required. This scholarship is renewable provided the student remains a member of PTK and maintains a 3.3 GPA.
