Young Harris College strives to develop its students into successful leaders, and the Office of Campus Activities helps students gain the leadership and interpersonal skills that aid in their success. One of the best ways to enhance and sharpen these skilles is through on and off campus involvement, and we offer numerous leadership development opportunities for all students at Young Harris College.
Leadership development can be defined and shaped in various campus settings. Many of these types of interactions happen outside of the classroom. Below are just a few places where you can develop your leadership skills:
- Your hometown
- Student governance councils (SGA, CAB, hall councils)
- Intramural games
- In clubs and organizations
- In the community through service projects
- Where you work
