Naveela Philbeck
Executive Director of Compliance
Naveela Philbeck joined Young Harris College in 2020 and currently serves as Executive Director of Compliance. She oversees Disability Services, Title IX, and institutional investigations, and supports areas such as ADA accommodations and FMLA. Prior to her current role, she served as Director of Human Resources, where she worked closely with employees and managed a wide range of HR and compliance matters. Naveela holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Georgia Gwinnett College and is currently pursuing a Juris Master’s at Florida State University. She is passionate about creating a campus environment that is safe, supportive, and accountable for students and employees. She lives in the local community with her husband and their five children and enjoys spending time with family.
