YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. — Young Harris College invites the community to attend upcoming Fine Arts events. Events will take place on the YHC campus, which is located at 1 College Street, Young Harris, Georgia 30582. You are invited to enjoy the following:
 

– On Thursday, August 25 at 6 p.m., the Opening Reception for the Jamaal Barber art exhibit, “For All My Brothers Lost and Found,” will be held in the Campus Gate Art Gallery. Admission is free and open to the public.

– From Thursday, August 25 – Thursday, September 15, the Jamaal Barber art exhibit, “For All My Brothers Lost and Found,” will be on display weekdays from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. in the Campus Gate Art Gallery. Admission is free and open to the public.

– On Monday, August 29 at 5:30 p.m., the “FOTA Season Preview,” a sneak peek of YHC’s upcoming 2022-2023 fine arts events, will be held in Suber Banquet Hall. Admission is free and open to the public. – On Saturday, September 24 at 2 p.m., “Little Piglet Gets a Sister,” a children’s musical with lyrics by John Maclay and music by Brett Ryback, made possible by The Fred Register Endowment for Children’s Theatre at Young Harris, will be held in Glenn~McGinnis Hall. Admission is free and open to the public.

– On Saturday, September 24 at 7 p.m., “Pops on the Plaza,” one of YHC’s most highly anticipated annual band concerts, will be held on the campus plaza. The weather location will be Glenn~McGinnis Hall. Admission is free and open to the public.

– On Tuesday, September 27 at 7 p.m. and Wednesday, September 28 at 7 p.m., “The Harry and Sam Dialogues,” a play by Karen Ellison, will be held in Dobbs Theatre. This show is for mature audiences only. Admission is open to the public, and donations will be accepted at the door.

– On Thursday, September 29 at 6 p.m., the Opening Reception for the Clint Samples art exhibit, “Pastureland,” will be held in the Campus Gate Art Gallery. Admission is free and open to the public.

– From Thursday, September 29 – Thursday, October 20, the Clint Samples art exhibit, “Pastureland,” will be on display weekdays from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. in the Campus Gate Art Gallery. Admission is free and open to the public.
