YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – Young Harris College is pleased to announce that twenty-three of their students have been chosen as recipients for the 2018-2019 United Methodist Dollars for Scholars (UMDFS) program. The United Methodist Dollars for Scholars program involves matching support from a student’s church, United Methodist Higher Education Foundation, participating United Methodist-related schools and participating UMC Conference Foundations. Students who are UMDFS recipients have met the following criteria: they are an active, full-time member of The United Methodist Church for at least one year prior to applying, and they are enrolled or plan to enroll in a full-time degree program (graduate or undergraduate) at a United Methodist-related college or seminary in the United States.
