YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. — Young Harris College invites the community to attend Fall Fest on Thursday, Oct. 24 from 6-8 p.m. The event is open to the public and promises to be a fun-filled experience for all ages. The College’s main plaza will be full of Halloween games, trick-or-treating, activities and photo opportunities to capture pictures of the best Halloween costumes. There will also be a haunted house, which is recommended for children 11 and older.

Fall Fest will take place on YHC’s campus, which is located at 1 College St., Young Harris, Georgia. Carpooling is encouraged since parking is limited. Admission is $2 for anyone under 18 years old. YHC students, faculty and staff can attend for free with their YHC ID.

This event is sponsored by YHC’s Office of Student Involvement and will feature tables from student organizations, residence halls and athletic teams.

“Fall Fest is right around the corner, and we’re so excited,” said Director of Student Involvement Maggi Secrest. “There will be a path around our main lawn filled with tables to visit, a haunted house and plenty of candy. Many departments and groups on campus are teaming up to provide an exceptionally fun event for the community. The YHC Dance Team is also planning on performing several times throughout the night. I hope you’ll join us!”
