Honors Program

The Young Harris College Honors Program celebrates the mission and values of Young Harris College and provides a distinctive learning environment for high-achieving students.  Students in the Honors Program enjoy priority registration and participate in multi-disciplinary, special-topics courses designed exclusively for the program, as well as Honors sections of some core courses.  Program participation also includes opportunities for academic scholarships, research support, and special opportunities for travel. Ultimately, students are working towards a bachelor's degree with Honors distinction.

When prospective students apply to YHC and meet the minimum requirements, they will be invited to apply to the YHC Honors Program. Applications to the Honors Program will be considered for membership and have the opportunity to compete for academic scholarships on the Scholars Day held on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018.
