About Mathematics at Young Harris College

Mathematics introduces students to a broad array of theoretical and applied fields in modern mathematics. It also requires students to complete year-long sequences in the central areas of real analysis and abstract algebra.

Mathematics minor requirements

To graduate with a minor in Mathematics from YHC, you’ll take 17 hours of coursework.

A continuation of Calculus I. Topics include integration of one-variable functions, comparison theorems for integration, methods of integration, some applications of integration, sequences, series, and power series.
