First-Year Foundation Presentations

Professional and student staff are available to present on career exploration, study skills, and the College Student Inventory in your First-Year Foundations class. Residence Hall Presentations & Workshops
RAs are encouraged to request a presentation for Academic Success Center staff to facilitate for their next floor gathering! We are also available to train RAs on topics so they may present on their own.

Career EVENTS

Career Fairs
Looking for your first professional job or internship? Join us on or trip to Atlanta! Each semester we host a trip to Atlanta for the GACE College to Career Fair. More than 80 employers attend in search of college students with a desire to progress professionally.

Professional Attire Fashion Show
Have a job interview and have no idea what to wear? Want to make a good impression on your first day of work? This fashion show is designed to help you figure out your professional wardrobe! Students, faculty and staff work the runway to showcase interview, professional, business casual, and causal Friday attire.  It is a night full of music, food, fashion, learning, and fun!

Graduate School Fair
Every fall semester, the Academic Success Center hosts over 30 graduate schools across Georgia and the southeast on campus. This is a phenomenal opportunity to learn about your options after graduation. Representatives are always excited to meet Young Harris College students and hear how they can help you reach your goals. This is an event you don’t want to miss!
