Dr. Susan Farley Krebs
Assistant Professor of Education - Professional Studies
Dr. Susan Farley Krebs is a native of the area. Dr. Krebs spent one year teaching alternative school, grades 6-12, 19 years teaching elementary school, grades 1-5, and served as Assistant Elementary Principal for two years, and around ten years as an Adjunct Professor of Education at Milligan University in East Tennessee, before returning to Young Harris, in 2022. She has served on many school-wide, district-based, and community committees. Dr. Krebs was chosen from leaders across the state of Tennessee to be a member of the TSIN Innovative Leaders Network Cohort in 2017. Dr. Krebs enjoys the enthusiasm and commitment to education exhibited by YHC students. When not teaching, Dr. Krebs enjoys travel, food, reading, music, and spending time with family and friends.
