Melissa Collins joined Young Harris College in January 2026, bringing with her 30 years of experience in public education and a lifelong passion for helping students learn and grow. Throughout her career, she has served as a classroom teacher and as an academic interventionist, where she found great joy in supporting students as they developed confidence and achieved success. She is especially passionate about working with future educators and loves witnessing the excitement, dedication, and growth of students preparing to make a difference in their own classrooms. When she is not in the classroom, Melissa enjoys traveling and making memories with her family.
