Steve Esser
Adjunct Instructor of Communication Studies - Humanities
Steve Esser joined the Young Harris College team in 2023 as Director of Communications and adjunct instructor in Communication Studies. He has been communicating all his life with 40 years of experience in public relations and journalism. Steve also has an extensive background in crisis communications, dealing with the frequent hurricanes and tropical systems that have traveled across the Gulf of Mexico. Steve relocated from Pensacola, FL, to Blairsville with his wife, Lisa. The “newlyweds” of 22 years have four children, now adults, and four grandchildren. An avid movie nut, he enjoys all types of music, and is a streaming-television viewer, following a number of shows and series. He also admits to being a “slight” Star Wars nerd and Ted Lasso fan.
