Held at the beautiful Brasstown Valley Resort, the Clay Dotson Open golf tournament benefits student scholarships at Young Harris College. Nearly 100 percent of YHC students receive some form of financial assistance, and all proceeds from the tournament are used toward student scholarships. Your generous support of this event allows YHC students the opportunity to achieve their academic pursuits and become part of the YHC legacy.

Registration includes breakfast, lunch, refreshments, a goody bag valued at $75, and every dollar we raise pours directly into student scholarships!

Tournament Highlights

  • Morning and afternoon flights (limited to 112 players each)
    (Morning flight activities will begin at 6:45 a.m. Afternoon flight activities will begin at 1:30 p.m.)
  • Awards ceremony with prizes for low net score in each flight
  • Putting contest with prizes

  • Complimentary lunch/refreshments

The Tom Forkner, Sr. Alumni Challenge

  • Gather at least three YHC alumni on a team and compete for a special award.
  • Discounted rate for alumni on team ($150 per alumnus/alumna player)
  • Award for the team (with three or more alumni) that has the lowest score in the tournament
