Zell & Shirley Miller Library
The Zell and Shirley Miller Library at Young Harris College supports the academic life of the College by facilitating information resources for students, faculty and staff. In addition to physical resources and space, the Library consists of a wealth of electronic resources across all disciplines.
Located in the Rollins Campus Center, the Miller Library serves as a hub of campus. With close access to dining and other campus services, students find the library to be a regular part of their day. Private and collaborative study areas, printing services and comfortable seating make the library a student-favorite destination. Wireless access is available throughout, and YHC students have access to a large 24 hour study space with technology.
Collections include 45,000 print volumes, access to over 120 databases including journals, magazines, newspapers, and legal documents, and more than 250,000 e-books. Special Collections include YHC History, the Ogletree Lincolniana College, the Rowe Comics Collection and the Hale Roosevelt Collection.
- Discovery houses all of the library’s holdings, both physical and electronic.
- Databases are a collection of electronic texts and journals, which are accessible both on and off campus.
- LibGuides provide subject-specific research help and instructions.
- The Journal Locator allows students to look up a journal by title and learn which services contain full-text articles from it. Be sure to disable your pop-up blocker to use this resource.
