The Student Juried Art + Design Exhibition is an annual spring art show sponsored by the Young Harris Art Department and the Campus Gate Art Gallery. “This annual exhibition showcases a variety of artwork in the categories of Drawing, Painting, Mixed Media, Printmaking, Graphic Design, Illustration, Video, 3D Sculpture, Ceramics, and Installation,” said Becky Miller, Director of the Campus Gate Art Gallery. “This gives our YHC students the opportunity to ‘place their work in the world’ and be recognized. We would like to give a special thank you to this year’s exhibition juror, artist, educator, and writer Marea Haslett from Cummings, Georgia. who did an excellent job. We would also like to thank the sponsors and generous donors of the show, Wendy Slaton and Stan Anderson.”

Her artwork is in private collections nationwide. “Thank you for this opportunity to view and comment on all of your hard work,” said Marea. “I also want to extend my congratulations to all of you and your professors for a job well done.
