Alumni Outcomes


Garrett Blake, 19, of Roswell, Georgia, will attend Duke University to pursue a master’s degree in environmental management.

Caroline Cox, ’19, of Richmond Hill, Georgia, is majoring in environmental science. After graduation, she will work with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources’ Stream Survey Team. The Stream Survey Team is a small group of technicians, biologists and seasonal workers who monitor the health of Georgia's wadeable streams by surveying fish communities.

11:30 am-1:00 pm:  Georgia Academy of Science Board of Directors business meeting (closed to the public)        
12:00 pm to 6:00 pm: On-site Registration (RCC Main Lobby)
1:30 pm to 5:00 pm: Oral presentations (Sections I and IV only)
5:00 pm to 6:00 pm:  Poster presentations/opening remarks, refreshments served
6:15 pm to 7:15 pm:  Keynote lecture
7:30 pm and 8:15 pm: Planetarium Showings
