YHC Night at Acoustic Sunsets

Join fellow Young Harris College alumni, faculty, staff, friends of the College, and their guests for YHC Night at Acoustic Sunsets on Thursday, September 24, at the beautiful Hamilton Rhododendron Gardens in Hiawassee.
Enjoy an evening of live music, great company, and Mountain Lion spirit during one of the area’s most popular community concert series. Young Harris College will host a dedicated hospitality area where you can reconnect with fellow alumni and friends while taking in the evening’s entertainment.
Guests who register in advance will enjoy:
- One complimentary drink ticket
- Light hors d’oeuvres
- Access to a semi-private YHC gathering space
- A special update from President Dr. John Wells during the band’s intermission
Bring your lawn chair or blanket, settle in for an evening of great music, reconnect with fellow Mountain Lions, and celebrate Young Harris College under the North Georgia sky.

As a joint event hosted by the Office of Alumni Engagement and Admissions, alumni and their guests will have the opportunity to meet and mingle whilst also interacting with prospective students and their families. During the course of the evening guests will enjoy heavy appetizers and refreshments by Bourbon Brothers Smokehouse and Tavern. The event will also include an alumni panel, admissions update, and message by President Dr. Wells.
Registration is required; general tickets are $10 per guest.

Sunny Portugal Alumni Travel Trip

March 12-27, 2027
Travel with your alumni friends from the northern city of Porto, through the Portuguese capital, Lisbon, to the sunny cliffs of the Algarve and Portuguese Riviera, venture along Portugal’s stunning shoreline. Encounter picturesque towns, winding cobblestone streets, oceanfront promenades, and quaint villages.
