The BS in Business Statistics and Analytics at Young Harris College prepares students to develop the skills and knowledge related to structure, policies, procedures, and operations of an organization.  Completion of the program requires familiarity and use of various statistical and analytical techniques that inform decision-making in business.  This includes using various programming languages and software programs to analyze data, such as MS Excel, R, Google Analytics, MS Access, MS Power BI, Stata, and others.  Completion of the curriculum will prepare graduates for success in business or graduate school.  Students will understand fundamental business principles and best practices, and will be trained in how to gather information relevant to a decision, break down the information relevant to a decision, make comparisons and tradeoffs between options, and identify the most desirable option, using appropriate analytical tools.
