The YHC Archives

The YHC Archives exist to collect the institutional history and memory of Young Harris College. Persons interested in the history of YHC should come to the Library for general information, or use the contact information below to get assistance with their inquiry.

Special Archives

Merle Mann Artifact Collection

Containing Native American artifacts which were a gift of Mr. Merle Mann in 1950, a portion of the collection is on display on the second floor of the Rollins Campus Center.

Several small conference rooms are available in the Zell & Shirley Miller Library.

Policies

Anyone may use the Zell & Shirley Miller Library materials inside the Library building. YHC students, faculty and staff use their College-issued ID card to check out material. Community privileges are extended to persons living in Towns, Union and Fannin counties in Georgia and to Clay and Cherokee counties in North Carolina. Certain restrictions apply to different types of users. One renewal is allowed per check-out term.
